Yaron Sarch
Piano/Guitar/Songwriting Instructor
Mr. Sarch has been a music teacher for over 20 years. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Music Education from Boston University. He earned his Masters in Music Education from the University of Miami and completed his Bachelor of Music Degree in Songwriting from the Berkelee College of Music in Boston. Mr. Sarch has extensive experience in various levels of music education - as a college lecturer at Boston University and Broward College, as a primary and secondary level music teacher in Miami-Dade Public Schools and as a private music teacher for two decades.
He has been instrumental in the development of a rock band program at Conservatory Prep Senior High School in Davie, FL. He has also held positions as the Band and Orchestra Director for the American Heritage School, Delray Beach, FL and as a music teacher for the After-school Enrichment Program at the Chesterbrook Academy in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Mr. Sarch also has a vast amount of experience in the music performance and composition realm. He has played in numerous Off-Broadway musicals and he wrote, arranged, and recorded all of the music for the Off-Broadway play “Dilettantes and Debutantes.” He has also written, arranged, and produced music for television ads for such clients as Clairol Herbal Essence, AT&T, Hyundai, and MasterCard. His credentials for pop and rock performances are too numerous to list, but cover a wide range.
He is a member of a number of professional organizations including the American Federation for Teachers, Florida Music Education Association, National Association for Music Education, National Education Association and the United Teachers of Dade. He was recognized as Van E. Blanton’s 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year and is certified in Music K - 12 by the Florida Department of Education.
